Instructions for authors for preparing a manuscript for the Proceedings of the 4th Symposium “Mathematics and Applications”, 2013.

Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade will publish Proceedings of the 4th Symposium “Mathematics and Applications” that was held in May 2013. All authors that have presented their works on the Symposium are invited to submit their manuscript.

  • Manuscripts may be written in Serbian (in Cyrillic or Latin letter) or in English.
  • Manuscripts should be up to 12 pages long, including Bibliography.
  • Manuscripts should include following elements: title, author(s), affiliation(s), abstract, keywords, the body of a manuscript, bibliography.
  • The title and the authors of the manuscript should be the same as in the official conference program.
  • Abstract should contain between 150 and 250 words, and 3-5 keywords are required.
  • The body of a manuscript should include: introduction, several sections (subsection may be included) and conclusion. Tables and Figures may be included as well.
  • Manuscripts may be prepared in LaTeX or MS Word 2007 (or later versions).
  • Templates for preparing manuscripts in English may be downloaded here:
  • Please note that font sizes for each part of the manuscript are set in templates, as well as the way of typing mathematical formulae, table format and the way of placing a figure in a manuscript. Please do not change the form given in templates.
  • All submitted manuscripts will be subject to reviewing process.
  • Please, send the manuscripts on following email addresses: zoricast[at]matf.bg.ac.rs and svetlik[at]matf.bg.ac.rs. Please, send the manuscripts on both addresses.
  • If you used Latex for preparing your manuscript, please send both .tex and .pdf files, as well as all supporting files (figures, for example). If you used MS Word 2007, for preparing your manuscript, please send both .docx and .pdf files.
  • The deadline for submission is September 15, 2013.
